Together in motion
At the German Sports & Olympia Museum, group visitors can not only see sporting history, but also experience it for themselves. In addition to exciting guided tours through the great moments of German and international sport, the museum offers numerous interactive stations – from a long jump pit and boxing ring to the sports fields on the roof. Interactive exhibitions vividly convey topics such as the Olympics, fair play and sports technology, and showcase famous athletes. In addition, there are educational programmes that impart knowledge, promote team spirit and incorporate physical activity. This makes a visit to the museum a lively mix of learning, trying and marvelling.

Sports on the roof
The perfect way to round off a visit to the museum is on our spacious roof area, where groups can get active. Whether it's a relaxed game of football, a few shots at the basketball hoop or simply some exercise in the fresh air – here you can round off your visit in a sporty atmosphere. The area offers enough space to try out new things, play games together or organise small team-oriented challenges.
The necessary sports equipment can be borrowed conveniently and free of charge at the museum ticket office, so nothing stands in the way of an active conclusion. Access to the roof is directly via the exhibition and is possible at any time. This makes a visit to the museum not only inspiring, but also an active communal experience that ideally combines learning, exchange, and exercise.

Rediscover history
The permanent exhibition at the German Sport & Olympia Museum offers groups an impressive journey through 2,500 years of sporting history. Unique exhibits await you across more than 2,700 m², including Muhammad Ali's autographed boxing gloves, a Formula 1 racing car driven by Michael Schumacher, Lukas Podolski's football boots and a smashed tennis racket belonging to Boris Becker. Themed rooms, historical background information and interactive elements bring the successes, setbacks and defining moments of sport to life. Critical aspects such as doping are also highlighted. The exhibition invites visitors to discover sporting culture, emotions and values from new perspectives – together and in an inspiring way.
