From the origins of the Olympic Games in ancient Greece to current sporting events: Ready, Set, Go! provides an exciting insight into the history of and the  fascination with  movement and sporting competition. Vistors will understand just what an important role sport  played throughout the ages. Unique, original exhibits and inspiring installations document impressive achievements and records, sensational victories and dramatic defeats, the great emotions and values of sport.  Critical questions and undesirable developments are also focused on. The stimulating environment motivates visitors to become active themselves: you can try your hand at the ancient long jump with jumping weights, re-enact gymnastics exercises in the style of the "father of gymnastics" Jahn or brave the current in the wind tunnel on a racing bike. Join us on an eventful journey through time to the big, wide world of sport!
