The picture is divided into two parts. On the left side of the picture is a glass display case containing various exhibits. The exhibits are from the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. On the right is a blue bobsled from the East German Democratic Republic (GDR). In the foreground is the national flag of the GDR. Below the flag is the abbreviation “GDR”.

Guided tours

The educational programme of the German Sport & Olympic Museum includes a variety of offers for various  target groups and interests. For example, our trained and committed guides are happy to lead school classes and other groups through the museum.

Guided tours usually last about sixty minutes and can also take place outside regular opening hours by arrangement. In addition, there is of course the opportunity to explore the exhibition further before and/or after the agreed appointment or to use the various activity stations and the play areas on the roof of the building. An app is also available free of charge, which provides in-depth information in the form of an audio guide.

In addition to our classic "Ready, set, go!", guided tours with a specific thematic focus can also be booked. We also offer our guided tours in English and French.
