The picture is divided into two parts. On the left is a soccer field. The soccer field is located on the roof of the German Sports & Olympic Museum. You can see the Olympic rings on the roof, attached to the wall. You can also see the Rhine and the other buildings on the other side of the river. On the right, you are at the beginning of our exhibition. On the floor is a glass panel showing an ancient stadium from the ancient Olympic Games.

Good Governance

The German Sport & Olympic Museum is committed to the rules and spirit of good governance. This applies to the board members of the Foundation and the German Sport & Olympic Museum Association, the full-time management of the museum and all employees. The basis for respectful and value-oriented action by all those involved is the Museum's Code of Ethics. This naturally also includes the obligation to always treat our visitors in a friendly and appreciative manner.

Special attention is also paid to avoiding and preventing  any sexually inappropriate behaviour. In this regard, the museum has adopted the German Olympic Sports Confederation's "Step-by-Step Model for the Prevention and Protection against Sexual Violence" and has also appointed a person of trust who is responsible for the implementation of these measures.
