A special setting for your event
At the German Sport & Olympic Museum, we give events that special something. An extraordinary atmosphere awaits you in the Rheinauhafen in a historic customs and warehouse building – ideal for conferences, company celebrations, lectures, press conferences or hybrid formats.
Our flexible rooms, ranging from 85 to 450 m², can accommodate 10 to 350 guests and provide the perfect setting for any occasion. Enjoy the panoramic view of the Rhine and discover over 2,500 years of sporting history with your guests – full of excitement, legendary moments and inspiring personalities. Make your event an experience to remember.

Sport, values and inspiration
For companies and business groups, the permanent exhibition at the German Sport & Olympia Museum offers an inspiring setting for combining sporting culture and team experiences. Covering more than 2,700 m², teams can experience a fascinating journey through 2,500 years of sporting history – with exhibits such as Muhammad Ali's boxing gloves, Michael Schumacher's Formula 1 racing car and Dirk Nowitzki's signed shoes. Interactive stations and authentic sporting moments convey how motivation, fairness, competition and community work in sport. The exhibition provides inspiration for teamwork, leadership and communication and is ideal as a complementary highlight for team events, workshops or corporate events.

How much time should I plan for a visit?
There is so much to see and experience here that you could spend a whole day in the museum. But an hour and a half or two hours is also enough time for a wonderful experience. You are more than welcome to stay as long as you want.

How do I get to the roof of the museum?
Use of the roof and play areas is included in the admission price. You can reach the top via the permanent exhibition.
A little tip: you can borrow balls for a quick game free of charge at the entrance desk.

How can I book a visit for a group?
Depending on the tour, you can either book the group visit directly in our online shop or enquire via our visitor centre.
Please note: Group visits are only possible in combination with a museum tour.

Is there a free cloakroom for groups?
We provide a mesh box for each group. Please bring €10 for the key deposit. This will of course be returned to you.

Can I rent rooms in the museum for an event?
