American Football

One Pride Worldwide - new exhibition

The history of American football and the Detroit Lions

One Pride Worldwide is the first presentation on American football at the German Sport & Olympia Museum and shows the sport as a global phenomenon with fans all over the world. Together with the Detroit Lions as co-hosts, the fascination of this game comes to life.

From 27 April to 8 June 2025, the exhibition will present exclusive original exhibits directly from Detroit - including historic jerseys, game balls and personal memorabilia, many of which are on display outside the USA for the first time. A special focus will be on Amon-Ra St. Brown, the Lions' German-American wide receiver. With roots in Leverkusen, he is one of the most successful German-speaking NFL players and symbolises the connection between the USA and Germany like no other.

Interactive stations invite you to join in: experience what a football feels like, compete with the NFL's greatest talents and test your own throwing technique.

Whether you are a long-time fan or curious about your first touchdown - this exhibition is an invitation to discover American football up close.

A visit to the exhibition is included in the museum admission price.
