"Fan Zone" Cologne

Men's EHF EURO 2024

Public Viewing in the German Sports & Olympic Museum

Between 10th and 28th of January 2024 the European Handball Championship takes place in Germany for the first time ever!

Next to other cities, Cologne celebrates handball not only, but also with the official "Fan Zone" of Men's EHF EURO 2024 in the German Sports & Olympic Museum.

Since Wednesday, 17th January, fans in Hamburg and Cologne are able to watch all games of the main round live in the Fan Zones. In Cologne the teams Austria, Croatia France, Germany, Hungary, and Iceland are matching up. In Hamburg teams from Denmark, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, and Sweden are grouped together.

In Cologne, we are inviting every sports fan and handball enthusiast to join the public viewing in our Champions Hall. Our Fan Zone is opening every game day one hour before the first game and closes half and hour after the last match.

On Tuesday, 23rd January, the Fan Zone will appear as an outdoor winter special in the unique atmosphere of our rhine terrace.

Next to a relaxing atmosphere, you will find foodtrucks and other offers on all days.

The Fan Zone is a joined initiative by: Sportland.NRW, Stadt Köln, Deutscher Handballbund und Deutsches Sport & Olympia Museum.
