AN EXPERIENCE FOR ALL!

The German Sport & Olympia Museum offers an exciting and emotional journey through the history of sport. Numerous action stations, such as an original goal wall from a German TV station’s sports studio, a bicycle in a wind tunnel or a boxing ring as well as two playgrounds on the roof of the building invite visitors to engage in sporting activities. You can book excellent  guided tours through the exhibition, fun programmes for children's birthday parties as well as sports-based team-building  events. In addition, our museum has a very special atmosphere which enhances events of any kind.

The museum is barrier-free and air-conditioned.

Tuesday - Sunday and public holidays | 10 - 18 hrs

NOTE: During the autumn holidays, our house is open on both Mondays - October 2nd and 9th, 2023 - from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Bistro

We have an attractive bistro which also offers seating on a beautiful terrace with a view of the Rhine - weather permitting. When the pandemic-related restrictions have been lifted, we will reopen our catering service in the bistro. As of now, drinks and snacks are readily available in our well-stocked machines

    Underground car park Rheinauhafen (entrance height 1.90 m), please park in the red zone. Barrier-free access to the museum is available.

  • On foot from the Cathedral/ main train station

    Walk upstream along the Rhine to the swing bridge (Malakoffturm). Walking time about 20 minutes.
